PROPHET MUHAMMAD (P.B.U.H)

Muhammad is the messenger of Allah; and those who are with him are strong against disbelievers, (but) compassionate amongst each other. Thou wilt see them bow and prostrate themselves (in prayer), seeking Grace from Allah and (His) Good Pleasure. On their faces are their marks, (being) the traces of their prostration. This is their similitude in the Taurat; and their similitude in the Gospel is: like a seed which sends forth its blade, then makes it strong; it then becomes thick, and it stands on its own stem, (filling) the sowers with wonder and delight. As a result, it fills the Unbelievers with rage at them. Allah has promised those among them who believe and do righteous deeds forgiveness, and a great Reward.(Surah ALfatah; 29 verses

GENEROSITY

The prophet Muhammad(PBUH) said that“God has sent me to perfect good manners and to do good deeds.” (Bukhari)

when we study the life of Muhammad (PBUH), we get to know the perfect meaning of humanity..Before prophethood Hazrat Muhammad (PBUH) taught only the lesson of humanity by his character. His dealings with others and good character towards humans made himtrustworthy. Thats why people of macca called him SADIQ and ALAMIN.
The generosity is not like that you are rich than you are able to help someone. There are so many different ways to be generous. Being generous with money is just a way.

Here is some beautiful examples of  Prophet(PBUH)  generosity.

One day, a lady gave Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him) a woven cloak. She said, “Oh Prophet (peace be upon him), this is for you to wear.” Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him) took it, as he direly needed it, and put it on. One of his Companions saw it on the Prophet, so he said, “Oh Messenger of Allah, how nice that is! Give it to me.” The Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him) immediately fulfilled the man’s request and gave it to him, although he greatly needed it and the man knew this!!

When Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him) stood up to lead the Companions in prayer, they said [to the man],

The man was wrong [concerning what he did]! The Prophet (peace be upon him) took it (the cloak) as he really needed it. Then the man asked for it, and he knew that the Prophet does not turn anyone away empty-handed.’ And this is what the Messenger of Allah Muhammad (peace be upon him) was known for. Consequently, the man said, “I hoped to receive blessings from it as the Prophet (peace be upon him) had worn it; and I hope I will be shrouded in it when I die! related by Al-Bukhari.

Muhammad, upon him be peace, said: “Avoid doing injustice to others, for on the Day of Judgment, it will turn into manifold darkness, and safeguard yourself against miserliness, for it ruined those who were before you. It incited them to murder and treating the unlawful as lawful.” (Muslim)

Bibi Fatimah(peace be upon her) the daughter of Prophet Muhammad(SAW), was the perfect example of generosity. One day, a group of under clothed people came to the Prophet(SAW) and ask for clothes. The Prophet (SAW) never turn down a request, went home together clothes but found nothing other than a curtain that belonged to his daughter Fatima(peace be upon her) and which had been placed over some goods. The Prophet (SAW) asked her, "Oh Fatima (peace be upon her) would you like to be protected from the fire of hell by means of this curtain?" she replied, yes. The Prophet (SAW) tore that curtain into pieces and gave it to the poor to wear.

“And verily you, O Muhammad, are on an exalted standard of character.” (Al-Qalam, 68: 4

The Prophet (SAW) helps to other and encourage to do charity.

Ibn Abbas narrated Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) saying: “The believer is not the one who eats when his neighbour beside him is hungry” (Al-Bayhaqi).

The Hazrat Aisha(RA) was also love to help others

Aisha (the wife of the Prophet) said: “A lady, along with her two daughters came to me asking for some alms, but she found nothing with me except one date which I gave to her and she divided it between her two daughters.” (Al-Bukhari)

Generosity can be viewed as a wise investment in the future. Generosity or sadaqah may pave the way to Paradise because with every generous act comes great reward from Allah.
